Two-Day Bareback and Pick-Up Man Training with Kelly Timberman World Champion USA Bareback Rider in conjunction with multiple times National Pick-Up Men of Year David Mawhinney and Tom Durbidge!

DATES: 23rd-24th November 2024

START: Saturday 23rd November at approximately 8:30am

LOCATION: Goomeri Showgrounds, 46 Moore Street, Goomeri QLD, 4601 - Access via gate on Laird Street.  

ENTRY DATES: 23rd October - 22nd November

COSTS:

• $400 Active Participant - Actively participate in all training aspects of the rodeo school. Current NRA members will receive an $50 discount. 

• $200 Fence Sitter - Opportunity to learn by observing from the fence without actively participating in the event.

• Additionally, we will be bucking practive horses for Saddle Riders interested in honing their skills. This opportunity is available both days from 12pm onwards, with a cost of $100 per day. 

OBJECTIVE: This 2-day Bareback Riding and Pick-Up Man Training with Kelly Timberman, David Mawhinney and Tom Durbidge is perfect for both aspiring and experienced participants looking to improve their skills from the best in the sport. Whether you aspiring bareback rider or pick-up man eager to learn the sport, or an experienced professional wanting to enhance their technique, this rodeo school offers expert training for all from industry champions!

Nominations via the NRA Office on 0754 958 668 or email from Wednesday 23rd October to Friday 22nd November between 9:00am and 3:00pm. Nominations close Friday 22nd November 2024 at 3:00pm. Non-members can participate by completing the Day Membership Forms and emailing to office@nationalrodeoassociation.com.au

REQUIREMENTS:

• Active participants for the bareback ride training will need their own bareback rigging (preferably). 

• Active participants for the pick-up men training will need their own horse.

• Free unpowered camping available.

• Toilet and shower facilities available.
